At John D. Lawrence, Inc., safety is always a priority. We specifically train all of our
managers and field personnel to work in commercial and industrial environments. Our
company policies are continually updated with safety in mind.
Our employees regularly attend training classes at the facilities in which we work. They
also attend additional training given by outside organizations. As a result, we have
successfully completed work at many difficult sites without incident and without disturbing
ongoing operations.
Some examples of outside organizations in which we are members and/or send our employees to would be:
Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour / 30-hour training.
The South Jersey Chemical Manufacturers Safety Council, A member of the
Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils, Inc. (ARSC). This is a four and a half
hour safety course which is required by a majority of our clients.
ISNetworld is the global resource for connecting corporations with safe, reliable contractors from capital-intensive industries.
ISN collects self-reported conformance information from contractors, verifies its accuracy, and then reports the results in an
easy-to-follow format. This allows corporations to select those resources that best meet internal and governmental requirements,
while providing contractors and suppliers the opportunity to centralize their conformance information, saving time and gaining
presence in the marketplace.
The Data Integrity Security Administration (DISA, Inc.).
Their objective is to assist the owner and contractor in obtaining a drug free
workplace by providing consistent, objective, fair and manageable procedures for
drug and alcohol testing, which comply with applicable owner requirements.
Although we have received numerous safety awards and maintain a low incident rate, our
goal will always remain the same: To make safety a number one priority for our employees
and clients.
